Greetings everyone,

They say if you donʼt have anything to die for then why be alive. As you all know there are so many things going on in the world and in our very lives. While we might not be able to take them all on, I believe we must do what we can to help when we can, if we truly expect things to change.

Below, you will find a spiritual story of strength, courage, wisdom, pain, love, the will to survive and the spirit of God, which allowed an amazing woman to overcome a life changing moment.

This is an amazing book of the true story of what happened to Jackie Boatwrightʼs beautiful child Juan. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. I read this incredible book of a motherʼs courage, two weeks ago, while I rode the Marta train to work.  One particular day as I was reading, as the tears swelled in my eyes and started to roll down my check, a little old lady sitting on the side of me, leaned over and asked what I was reading and if I would be ok. I summarized the book for her and she leaned over and whispered where there is love and God, everything will be ok.

I encourage all of you to somehow get your hands on this book. Go to the websites listed below, sign the petition for the laws to change and make sure that when you purchase this life changing book, you tell Jackie Derrick sent you.

This book will make you grab your kids and squeeze them just a little tighter and give thanks to God how blessed you are to have them.

I will be working with Ms.Boatwright to get this information out to as many people as I can. Please pass this story and this email along to everyone you know.

Please bless Ms. Boatwright by ordering a book, support getting the laws changed that effect all our children and if you can, join us on the following dates for Ms. Jackie Boatwrightʼs book signings.

Peace and Blessings

On September 9, 2001, Then 14 month old Anthony DeJuan Boatwright fell into an unattended bucket at his state licensed family day care center.  He is affectionately called Juan(Wan).  At age five years, Juan is presently semi-comatose and ventilator dependent.  His mother, Jackie Boatwright, embarked on a crusade to change the law in Georgia regarding state licensed child daycare centers and liability insurance.  The center where Juan was kept was not insured and there was no present law in Georgia that required any form of liability insurance prior to being issued a state license to care for children. Nor was there a law that would require child day care providers to inform parents of their insurance status.  "The state issued licensed gave me a sense of security.  I assumed that if the state endorsed an individual to keep children, they would require liability insurance as a prerequisite to cover any negligent harm they may cause a child." said Jackie.  NOW THERE IS JUAN''S LAW (Posted from www.anthonydejuan.com)

10/20 Jackie Boatwright will be signing copies of her book at The Village Flea Market at Stonecrest Mall from 1 PM- 4 PM

10/27 Jackie Boatwright will be signing copies of her book at Barnes and Noble Northlake Mall 2-4 PM

Greetings to everyone.

I hope that this email finds you all well and blessed.

As many of you know, I do my best to get out important issues and information to you all that you may have otherwise not known about.

Over the last 4 months, I've been campaigning and going from city to city with Jackie Boatwright as she attempts to change the child care laws in this country.

Jackie Boatwright is a dear friend of mine and one incredible lady of courage, faith, strength, love and so much more.

Here's an excerpt about her son's story:
